Meet my photographer and new banner

I'm not staying on the computer very long today, I'm having a flare up of the repetitive stress injury, so it' a quicky post today. I've got a new banner designed by my budding photographer teen. (That's him above.) He prefers to take portraits and not do graphic arts but he feels obligated to keep my photos, banners, website fresh and not go stale. Thank you! He does most of my bead/jewelry photography although I'm still teaching him how to "style" the beads. He's a fast learner and I expect he'll be styling the beads soon.

Wire Head will be back - I'm doing lots of wire lately!

Tell him he did a great job :) I noticed it yesterday, and now I've got the bug to switch things around again. Hmmm, now my mind is busily calculating years until James and Kate can do things like that, LOL.

Thanks, Angela! He's a computer baby - when he was 9 months old and I was telecommunting (do they call it that anymore?) - working from home via the internet and computer - I would have him in my lap while I worked. I downloaded a free program called "Key Whack" for him. He could whack on the keys and make a picture. He loved it! Then he graduated to Kid Pix a graphics/arts program for kids and books on the computer. No wonder he can't live without his computer!

Wait until after your kids have gone through the middle school. Middle School is tough on kids but stick with them and then they'll be great employees for you!

I'm in the process of teaching him to make beads!

He's done a fabulous job Cindy - I love the new banner!

I'm struggling with a website design - & yep my mind has gone along the same path as Ang's. Kids seem to pick it all up so quickly & do it so well!

Hi Deb!

thanks, he will appreciate the compliments (he checks my blog, he tells me to see what "ugly" picture of him I've put up - I contend none of his pictures are ugly!).

Let's be fair to ourselves, girls - kids are in an environment where they have the opportunity to learn new technologies-school! We're busy seeing to their upbringing. We can learn it if we have the opportunity - but they are younger so they do pick it up faster!

I'm the one who got my son into Twitter ;-) and put him in his first photography class because I was sure he'd like it!

Do you have photobucket? They have a nice little photo editor where you can upload photos and then edit them. Fool around with it you can come up with a good banner for free that way.

I'm happy to help either of you with a banner- just send me an email!
